I had to wait until 5 A.M. (I'm still sleepy) to watch the total lunar eclipse in A Coruña (Spain). Different periods of cloudiness almos made me to give up. But I was there, waiting, patienly. Cold wind in my face, teary eyes, wet nose. Back and neck pain. Hungry and thirsty. Heck, this sounds like I was lost in the desert!!! :D

Here is a nine shot secuence of the eclipse take with my Canon EOS 300D, a 300 mm F 5.6 lens and a 2x multiplier lens. As you can see, it was fairly easy to take shot at the beginning of the eclipse, but as it evolved it became a pain to focus properly (can somebody explain to me why infinitum focal distance doesn't work with the moon???).

Of course, full view if you want to check the flaws (there are many)!!! Hope you all like it!!!

Nice shots you took. I had a horrible time taking mine. I just eliminated the series I was planing on making because they all came out horrible. But you did a really nice job.

gorgeous....it started ealry here in the states...at least in AZ...the moon was so small tho that it really wasn't worth watching...but you took amazing shots... :+fav: of course

holy crap that looks good, how can you get such good detail out of the moon, no matter how hard i try the moon always just turns into a white spot... i suppose i should do a shorter exposure... right?
